LaNaya Maria Herrera Wicklund, 40 of Cloquet passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 in her home. She was born February 3, 1981 in Grand Rapids to John and Claudia Herrera. She grew up in Hill City. LaNaya was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron; her father, John; niece, Anna Bella Hammerlund; and special cousin, Natalie Ann Alvar. She is survived by her three children; Sterling McCabe of Grand Rapids, Cash Herrera and Berlin Herrera both of Cloquet; her mother, Claudia Herrera of Cloquet; brothers, Bernard Herrera of Grand Rapids and Samuel Herrera of Minneapolis; sisters, Rosa (Chad) Hammerlund of Grand Rapids and Denamie (Shelby Thompkins) Herrera of Cloquet. Gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the Carlton VFW downstairs.
