Larry was the son of Marie (James) and James Donoghue. Nephew of Kate (Art) Mantooth, cousin of Lester (Nellie) and Marvin (Dorothy) Mantooth, all deceased. Survived by cousins Judy (Rick) Burke and Miranda and Cassidy Burke, life partner Bob Mosher and numerous friends. Larry attended Cherry Creek High School and Hobart College, served in the Navy and attended Nashotah House Seminary. He was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1969. Larry served St. Luke’s, in Ft. Collins, St. Raphael’s in Security and for 17 years at St. Laurence’s in Conifer. He retired in 1999 and continued to serve at St.Francis Center and various churches in the area. Our hearts are heavy but we rejoice with Larry, in the gift of resurrection through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 2015 Glenarm Place, Denver, Colordo 80205. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, St. Francis Center homeless shelter, 2323 Curtis Street Denver, Colorado 80205, Metro Caring food pantry, 1100 E. 18tth Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80218 or the GLBT Community Center of Colorado, 1301 E. Colfax, Denver, Colorado 80218.
