Lee Alan Angell, 60, of Moose Lake, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in his home. He was born on August 12, 1959 in Cloquet to Kathryn and LeRoy Angell. At birth Lee was diagnosed with the rare Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Lee was raised at home in Cloquet until 1981. After several moves, he made his home in Moose Lake in the Agate House in 1991. There he experienced loving care, satisfaction and fulfillment in his later years. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Kathryn Angell. Lee is survived by his sisters; Susan Angell of Cloquet, and Kathy Angell (Dr. Michael McGowan) of Minneapolis. Gathering of family and friends: 12:30 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service Monday, November 25, 2019 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet. A light lunch and fellowship will follow. Private inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
