SANDY RUN - Leila Mildred Redmond Mack, 87, of Agape Senior Assisted Living, West Columbia, formerly of Sandy Run, died Saturday, October 23, 2010.Mrs. Mack was born in Swansea, a daughter of Simon Redmond and Myrtle Wise Redmond Slice. She was married to the late Frank C. Mack. For many years, she worked as a talented seamstress in Sandy Run and Columbia. She loved her gardens and flowers. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Sandy Run.She is survived by four sons: Benjamin Mack (Judy) of Sandy Run, Allison Mack (Jeanette) of Sandy Run, Billy Mack of Sandy Run and Francis Mack (Nina) of Fort Motte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Millie Sjoberg, Monie Bardoul, Glenn Mack, Marcy Mack, Johnny Mack, Mandi Williams, Tommy Mack, James Mack and Catherine Mack and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Marshall Mack and Dale Mack, as well as five sisters and one brother. She is also survived by brothers, R. Wilbur Slice (Lil), Larry Slice (Carolyn) and Ray Slice.Her family is grateful to the staff of Agape Hospice and Agape Senior Assisted Living for their many kindnesses and gentle care.Visitation will be Monday evening, October 25, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, 200 State Street.Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2349 Old State Road in Sandy Run on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. with burial following in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Altman and Rev. Matt Rucker. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia will be assisting the family.Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 805 Buff Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 or Mt.
