Lena A. Rivera 92, went to be with the Lord on Friday March 22, 2024. She was born May 21,1931 in Walsenburg, CO to Victoria and Vicente Romero. Survived by children Mary (Andy) Vigil, Theresa Kacir, Alfonso C. Lucero Jr., Joseph Lucero, Kathy Lucero and Lewis Lucero. Also, brother Raymondo (Theresa) Romero. She also has a large extended Rivera family. Lena was preceded in death by former husband Alfonso C. Lucero and husband Fernando Rivera, brother Bennie Romero and sisters Freda Algien and Roseville (Guadalupe) Miranda. Lena was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with family and friends. Lena enjoyed crocheting, card games, Yahtzee, going to restaurants and gaming in Blackhawk. 

                                                  

 

                        Service on Friday April 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm at 

                                    ROMERO FUNERAL HOME 

                       1805 S. Sheridan, Lakewood, Colorado 

                          Burial to follow at Fort Logan Cemetery 

        Reception will be held at 4:00 @ Door Church at 2606 S. Sheridan
