Lewis C. Keppley
August 7th, 1933 - August 25th, 2015
Lewis C. Keppley, 82, formerly of Richland, PA, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in the Agape Nursing Center, West Columbia, S.C. He was born in Richland, PA on August 7, 1933, son of the late William and Laura Zerbe Keppley. Lewis was a pattern maker, last working for Hain's Pattern Shop in Avon, PA. He was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Richland, PA and was a charter member of the Richland Fire Police. He is survived by children, Michael Keppley and wife, Sherri of Womelsdorf, PA; Charlene Young of West Columbia, S.C.; and Marie Witchek and husband, Tom of Hopkins.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wilbur Keppley and wife, Gloria of Palmyra, PA. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Clauser Funeral Home, Inc., N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA with a visitation on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment was in the Richland Cemetery in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 204, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
