Linda R. Bathurst, 73, Huntingdon, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Venice, Florida, where she wintered for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Darrel L. Bathurst, a daughter, Wendy Jabbar, a granddaughter, Whitney Boucher, two sisters, Helen of Englewood, Florida, and Agnes of Petersburg and a brother, Charles from Englewood, Florida. Mrs. Bathurst has three stepchildren, Leslie Burkey of Suffolk, Virginia, Timothy Bathurst, Littlestown, and Crystal Himes, Bellwood. She also had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was a member of the 12th Street United Methodist Church, as well as the Venice Presbyterian Church in Florida. Mrs. Bathhurst was a member of the Huntingdon Soroptimist Club and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at the 12th Street United Methodist Church, Huntingdon, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14.
