Linda Bowen Johnson, 81, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born on July 28, 1942 in Marietta, Georgia and was raised and lived in Venice for the past 77 years. Linda was a hairdresser and former owner of Glamour Nook Beauty Salon and retired 6 years ago. She attended Venice High School , got her GED later in life then on to her Masters in Cosmetology. Linda is survived by her son, Scott Johnson; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Guild; grandchildren, Jennifer (T.J.) Linderman, Anthony Scott (Melissa) Johnson, Justin Johnson and Christian Guild; great-grandchildren, Kayla (Evan) Pickett, David Cramer, Jr., Kaden Manning, Tucker Linderman, Trinity Johnson, Sterling Johnson; great-great grandchildren, Gunnar and Cooper Pickett; two nieces, Tammy Dunlap and Rebecca Smith; brother-in-law, Clinton, Johnson and sister-in-law, Debara Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis S. Johnson; a brother, Douglas Bowen and her parents, Bazil and Etta Pear l Bowen. A celebration of life will be held at the family residence on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 3:00PM-5:00PM.
