Logan Nathanial Turner

Logan Turner of Colorado Springs, ran to the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 16, 2021 after a long fight with leukemia. He was just 16 years old.Logan was born on December 15, 2004. From the moment he was born, his inner joy seemed to shine. He was always smiling and everyone loved him instantaneously. He kept our family laughing from the time he was born to the end of his life. Logan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a way of making everyone feel that they were the most special person in his life.Logan was a loving son and a buddy to his mom, Shauna Turner, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was also a devoted brother to his siblings, Dylan and Austin. He is also survived by his father, Sean Turner; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Carol Weide; his paternal grandparents, Marlene Hobdy, Hal and Cheryl Turner; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Logan attended several schools in District 49, including Remington Preschool, Ridgeview Elementary, Skyview Middle School, Horizon Middle School, Sand Creek High School and Vista Ridge High School. He served on student council in elementary school and was a web leader in middle school. He took piano lessons as a young child and he used his knowledge of music to teach himself guitar and ukulele. Logan enjoyed participating in sports which included playing soccer, basketball, football, and baseball (his favorite). He liked to skateboard with friends during his free time from school and sports practices. Logan also enjoyed being a part of his church youth group and attending camps with them.
