Lorena Lineberry Richardson
December 31st, 1923 - June 13th, 2014
LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Lorena Lineberry Richardson, 90, of Lexington, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073. Reverend Don Britt will officiate. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Richardson, beloved wife of the late James Buford Richardson, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. Born in Caswell County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Waller Lineberry and Pearlie Susan Aldridge Lineberry. She was very proud to be from North Carolina and loved Country music, especially, Hank Williams, Sr. Lorena enjoyed watching Western movies and working on her Word Search puzzles. She also loved plants. Lorena retired from Rental Uniform Company. Surviving are her daughters, Gail Sanders (Steve) of West Columbia and Robin Richardson of Lexington; sons, Wayne Richardson (Donna) of Lexington and Brian Richardson (Ann-Marie) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Brian Richardson and Timothy Sanders; brothers, George Lineberry of Charlotte, NC and Gratin Ray Lineberry of Buford, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her daughter, Brenda Ann Richardson; sister, Geraldine Lineberry; brother, Richard K. Lineberry. The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Extended Care for their loving care. Memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Extended Care, 850 Old Cherokee Trail, Lexington, SC 29072.
