October 5th, 1957 - August 7th, 2023
Lori Jean “Lojeans” & “Mala-Puff” Malfa-Rich, age 65, of North Venice, Florida, passed away on August 7, 2023. She was born on October 5, 1957 in Newton, Massachusetts and moved to southwest Florida in 1991 from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Lori earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. She was a specialist at Apple for 9 years. Lori volunteered with her husband, Jim, working with animals including Snooty the manatee. She was in a book club with her friends and was recognized for high sales and customer ratings at the retail at home program with Apple. Lori is survived by her husband, Jim Rich; daughter, Chloe Rich; two stepdaughters, Dana Cobb, Jennifer Newman; sister, Tracey Malfa; four brothers, Brad Malfa, Todd Malfa, Tab Malfa and Ross Malfa. She also leaves behind multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Concetta Mary Cangemi and her father, Charles Frederick Malfa. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
