Lucia Casanova Rosario

Lucia “Mami” Casanova Rosario age 104 of The Villages, FL., passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on February 28, 1919. Loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by daughters Haydee and Alicia and son Angelo; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Sr. and son Felix. A visitation will take place at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL., on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 2-4pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 5323 East Country Rd 462, Wildwood FL., on Wednesday, May 10th at 11am. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha FL., at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to her favorite charity St. Jude Children’s Hospital is appreciated.
