Lynn Hiram Cranney

Lynn Hiram Cranney, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away peacefully of natural causes in the early hours of February 20th, 2017. Lynn was born and raised in beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming. He married his sweetheart Linda in Mesa, AZ in 1965 and they raised their family in Gilbert. He had a long and successful career as a CPA in Mesa. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Lynn was best known for his kind heart and the invention of the "double whammy shake". He is survived by his wife, Linda, and children, Robert Natasha, Deborah Michael, David Emalie, Elizabeth and his siblings Colleen, Don, Glaya and Steve. Lynn had 11 grandchildren at the time of his passing and they were the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew and is undoubtedly enjoying that sweet reunion. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his brother ValDee. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His life was centered around his love for Jesus Christ, his family, and gardening. A viewing will be held at 9:00 AM on February 28th, 2017 with the Funeral services to follow at 10:00 AM. Both will be held at the LDS Church, located at 777 E Elliot Rd Gilbert, AZ.
