She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and was currently attending St. Francis Catholic Church in Carlton. Maddy loved the outdoors, spending time at the cabin on Little Grand Lake and the cabin in Kentucky. She also enjoyed fishing on the river and taking trips to Mexico. Her greatest joy came when she was spending time with her grandchildren. Maddy will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert; daughter, Gale Clark of Cloquet, two sons, Randal (Peggy) of Havre, Mont. and Lance of Benton, Ken.; son-in-law, Lindsay Clark of Cloquet; sisters, Pauline (Art) Gleason, Marion Bergeron, Gloria (Dick) Hantz, and Jeanne Toboleski all of Cloquet, and Harriet (Dennis) Haugen of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Gerald (Kay) Vnuk of Bella Vista, Ark.; five grandchildren, Katie (Ryan Hatch) McMillen of Bismarck, North Dakota, Dylan Clark of Cloquet, Chantel Giblin of Lakeside, Calif., and Matthew and Michael Thorson both of Havre, Mont.
