Malachi Truman Harris, poet, writer, playwright, actor, anarchist, activist, and gentleman of wit and compassion, died Saturday, July 27 at age 78.Born April 24, 1935, in Port Arthur, Texas, he was a friend to the oppressed and one of the founders of the Gay Liberation Front in Colorado and Gay Pride Center in Colorado Springs. Staff of Gentiva Hospice was honored to serve him; his many friends keenly miss him; and the world is poorer for his absence in it. "No one," he said "is free until all are free."
