A graveside service celebrating the life of Mamie Bradley Crenshaw, 85, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Greenlawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Louie McDonald of Rosewood Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. JC Crenshaw, John Bedingfield, Will Bedingfield, John Creech, Art Towe, Butch Moak, and Jimmy Alexander will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosewood Baptist Church, 2901 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC 29205, Tri-County Hospice, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210, or the charity of one?s choice. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Crenshaw, widow of the late Leland Crenshaw, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011. Mrs. Crenshaw was born August 20, 1926 to the late Beulah and Tom Bradley. Mrs. Crenshaw was predeceased by a son-in-law, Walter Bedingfield. Surviving is her daughter, Mary Bedingfield of Barnwell, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Al Chamlee of Mobile, AL; a brother, Ernest Bradley and his wife Nancy of Pelion, SC; a sister, Ruby Davis and her husband Kindley of Gilbert, SC; and a sister, Cindy Langston of West Columbia, SC; 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives that will miss her dearly. Special thanks and appreciation is extended to the staff of the C.M. Tucker Center of Columbia, SC for their care and support of Mrs. Mamie B. Crenshaw.
