Marco Arturo Cota
August 5th, 1948 - August 13th, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved father, Marco Arturo Cota, 76, of Guadalupe, Arizona, left us on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a proud veteran.
He had been in a nursing home where he suffered a fall last week, requiring 13 stitches. Unfortunately, his health declined rapidly after that incident. This unexpected loss has been incredibly difficult for us, and we were not prepared for his sudden departure.
He was born in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Francisco Cota (Duran) and his wife, Rita Cota (Borboa), brother, Franciso Duran Cota. He is survived by his children, Marco Cota Jr., Denise Robles, Deanna Cota, several Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, his siblings, Reynaldo Cota, Gracie Cota Hernandez, and Alma Cota.
Funeral Services will be held in his honor on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Legacy Funeral Home - Rose Chapel from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
