Beloved Sister, Aunt, Mother, and Grandmother. Predeceased by her mother and father Jose and Carmen Barrientos and step father Abel Rodriguez. Brother’s Albert, Carlos, and Richard Barrientos and Danny Rodriguez. Sisters, Carmen, Rosa and Raquel Barrientos. Sons, Anthony Santa Cruz and Joseph “Manuel” Salgado. She is survived by her sisters Rachel and her husband Lewis Bruner and Emily “Mono” and her husband Esteban Perez and her brother Sam Rodriquez. Children, Mary Lou and her husband Lee T. Smith, Ruth and her husband Roberto Garcia, Carmen Salgado, Ruben Salgado and his wife Sealia, Leonard Salgado and his wife Denise, Helen Quintana, and Patrick Salgado and his wife Belinda. Loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Loved by numerous nephews and nieces. Born in Ft. Lupton Colorado, she spent most of her adult life in Denver, Colorado. Her joy in life was being with her family and friends in celebration of numerous birthdays, graduations and weddings. As we celebrate her life the viewing will be on Wednesday, October 6th, from 11am to 1pm at the Macedonia Baptist Church at 3240 Adams St at MLK Blvd. Immediately following will be the formal services. Her interment will be at Crown Hill Mortuary. Family and friends are welcomed to gather together at the Nativity of Our Lord Church, 900 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO.
