Margaret Ellen Meadows

Margaret Ellen Meadows, aged 95, of Ocala, Florida moved from her earthly home to her heavenly home on March 12, 2020 at Northridge Medical Center following a long illness. Born May 5, 1925 at Alcol, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late W. M. Meadows and Martha Hill Meadows of Madison, West Virginia. Margaret was a member of the Oakcrest Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Meadows, her daughter, Martha Lynn Brown and her grandson, Chad Brown. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death were her four sisters, Una Miller, Reva Cunningham, Ina Jarrell and Linnie Coon and her three brothers, Alonzo Meadows, Harry Meadows and Sebert Meadows. Margaret’s survivors include her two sons, Paul K. Brown and his wife, Beverly of Jefferson, Georgia and Stephen E. Brown and his wife Patti of Gallatin, Tennessee. She is also survived by two grandsons, Douglas Brown and Jason Brown and four great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter and two nephews. A graveside service celebrating the life of Margaret Ellen Meadows will be held on March 20, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ocala .
