Maria Lucero
July 14th, 1958 - July 30th, 2022
Carmen passed away peacefully in her Colorado Springs home surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 64. Carmen was born in La Junta Colorado, lived most of her life in Denver Colorado and had recently moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to her grandchildren. Carmen enjoyed life to the fullest. Carmen is preceded in death by her mom "Margie" Sisneros, stepdad George Duran, sisters Veronica Lucero, Eileen Saavedra, Debbie Lucero and brother Johnny Chavez. Carmen is survived by her 3 sons Rudy Lucero, Raymond Lucero his wife Andrea, and Billy Montoya. Her grandchildren are Sierra, Serenity Lucero, Uncle Benny Cisneros, Sisters Jeanette Leon, and Theresa Birely, brother-in-law Randy, Frances Suazo, Joanne Lucero, Judy Lucero, Maryann Rozypal, Gloria Archuleta, brothers Gabriel and Joe Lucero along with numerous nieces and nephews.
