Maria Gabriella “Gabri” Maieli age 83 of Venice, FL passed away on March 10, 2023. She was born on February 24, 1940, in Siracusa, Italy. Maria and her husband Umberto moved to Venice, FL years ago from Hartford, CT. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Carmelo and Lucia Schiavone formerly of Siracusa, Italy; son Alessandro Maieli formerly of Glastonbury, CT.; and granddaughter Rachel Maieli formerly of Glastonbury, CT. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Umberto “Elio” Maieli of Venice, FL; sons Massimo Maieli of Sarasota, FL, and, Carmine Maieli of Venice, FL; daughter-in-law Carmelita Maieli; granddaughters Jessica (Matthew) Violante of Parrish, FL and Ivana Maieli of Venice, FL; grandsons Brandon and Jordan Maieli of Harford, CT; great-grandchildren, Gioia Mia and Giacomo Violante of Parrish, FL. A visitation will be held on March 15, 2023, at 5 pm at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, FL. with funeral services to follow. A graveside service will be held on March 16, 2023, at 10 am at Venice Memorial Gardens.
