Marian Seybolt Allen was born 107 years ago on September 26, 2015. Her early schooling was in Bridgeport, Nebraska and she graduated from Colorado Teaching College in Greeley, Colorado. Marian also attended Lindenwood College and Hardin College in Missouri and she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Marian was a teacher in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska and she held lifetime teaching certificates in Colorado and Wyoming. She was a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and very active in the National Federation of Republican Women. She was a strong women who has survived these last years thanks to the wonderful loving care at Mount Saint Frances Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynne Allen whom she married at Camp Carson in 1948 and also preceded by her parents, Albert T. Seybolt and Bessie L.
