Marilyn Cole

Marilyn Rose Cole (n�e Grenko), 52, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at her home in Hygiene, Colorado.� Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Marilyn moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1994.� She met Donald Cole in 1995 and they married in Berthoud, Colorado on October 25, 1997, settling in Hygiene, Colorado.� In 2003, she gave birth to Lindsey Cole.� She and her husband Don owned and operated Cole�s Country Corner store in Hygiene from 2005 to 2010.� Marilyn had a zest for life and she loved to laugh.� Her hobbies included camping, fishing, playing games and spending time with her loved ones.� Perhaps her most favorite hobby was cooking.� Her potato salad and peanut butter balls were famous among those whom ever tried them!� She is often remembered by many for her hospitality to her family and friends and to those in the Hygiene community.� She would lend a hand any time anyone needed assistance or a shoulder to lean on when times were tough.� Her charisma and warmth were both great attributes of her character and will be sorely missed by those who knew her best. Marilyn is survived by her husband Don and her daughter Lindsey of Hygiene, Colorado, step-son Nicholas of Loveland, Colorado, brothers John (Deb), Joseph Jr. and Andrew Grenko of Iowa, sister Mary Grenko of Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews.� She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Grenko (Grguric), and nephew Jonathan.� Interment will take place at Hygiene cemetery.� Private services will be held.�� �Service Information A service summary is not available
