MarioLuis "Nesko" Julio Cordova Jr. received his wings on February 11, 2022. He is preceded in death by his aunt; Sue Gurule and great grandfather; Onofre Ortega. He is survived by his significant other; Monique Marquez, children; Antonio, Aniyah and Alina; Father; MarioLuis Julio Cordova Sr, Mother, Angel Rodarte, Paternal Grandparents; Rachel Nana Montano, Mario Cordova, Maternal Grandparents, Gloria Vigil, Robert & Lisa Thompson, Louis Rodarte; Great Grandparents; Lidia Lujan, Rudy & Edna Vigil, Aunts; Alexandra Cordova, Jacqueline Rodarte, Grace Santiago; Uncles; Francisco Cordova, Kenny Montoya, and Joey Santiago; Siblings; Isaac Rodarte, Isaiah Martinez, Mireya Cordova, Rudy Trujillo 3rd , Dominico "Nemo" Rivera Cordova and Brooklyn Simmons. Honorary Pallbearers; Francisco Cordova Sr., Francisco Cordova Jr., Marcus Murillo, Israel Reyes, Jeremiah Reyes, Isaiah Martinez, Rudy Trujillo 3rd , Kenny Montoya, Joey Santiago, Jordan Ulibarri, Stephan Padilla, Savannah Benavidez. Nesko will be remembered for his love of baseball, sports in general, fishing, camping, playing pool, boxing and music. He loved to eat and cook. His family describes him as faithfully loyal, caring, respectful, and full of dignity. His fiery attitude came with a big heart. He was the definition of protector, both of the family and close friends. All who knew him and cherished him will greatly miss him. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange and white to honor him at his service, as those colors represent his fidelity to his home team.
