Marissa Charise Vasquez

It is with a heavy heart that our beloved Marissa "Sissy" Vasquez has entered the gates of heaven. Our Beautiful, Kind, and Cherished Marissa is proceeded by her daughter, Baby Marissa "Sissy" Lee June Smith and Brother Richard "Richie" Vasquez, Jr. She is survived by Son, Nathaniel Vasquez-Abalos, Partner, Chunsie Smith and Mother-in-Law to Cameille Smith; Father (Daddy), Richard Vasquez (Nancy), Mother (Mama), Jo Anne Sandoval, Sisters, Nadine Vasquez and Lauren Vasquez, Nephew, Damian Vasquez-Aguayo, Nieces, Alexandria and Angelina Contreras; Great-Niece, Amerie Rose and Great Nephews, Andrew and Amias; Grandfather, Joe Vasquez (Late Nancy), Grandmother, Dorothy Sandoval (Late Edward), Aunt Sarah Vasquez and Christina Sandoval (Late Leonard); Many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Dear friends. Marissa "Sissy", was one of a kind and has left an imprint on every soul she was near. She has always been a creative and a dazzling person everyone wanted to be around. She was an exciting and adventurous woman who loved to travel, dance, laugh and sing. Sissy made so many people feel beautiful as a licensed esthetician and amazing makeup artist and it gave her joy. She just started a new adventure in the medical field as a phlebotomist until she completed her MA certification. Our Sissy was vibrant in everything she did! For those that knew Marissa and the love of Music Artist, David Correy (she even had a tattoo to show for it), not including shirts, jackets, hats, you name it! Did we mention we viewed over a thousand pics to choose the ONE that we ALL LOVE. Her family adored her for everything she was to all of us. Devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Best Friend you would ever meet. We will never be the same but we are blessed we had her as long as we did. In honor of her life and demonstration……May all of Heaven exalt YOUR name for all you did on earth and beyond.
