Marjorie Elizabeth Griffith

Marjorie E. Griffith, age 100, 3625 Parkmoor Village, Colorado Springs, CO.and formerly of Erie, PA passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Parkmoor Village in Colorado Springs, CO. Marjorie was born May 10, 1912, in New London, Ohio, a daughter of the lateSamuel and Anna Zeller. Marjorie attended Franklin High School. She worked in many trades. Some of them were at the Cottage Cheese Factory, Griswold Factory, a private investigating firm, private nursing for doctors, several hospitals, Nursing homes, and assorted other fields.She was a member of Airport Blvd Baptist Church in Aurora, CO. She loved attending there and loved her Lord. She was known for her wit and laughter.She left behind five generations. She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Griffith in 1991, a son Lewis R. Gibbens and a daughter Kathleen Showalter. Survivors include four sons: Arthur Gibbens and his wife Carol, Colorado Springs, CO, Jon Gibbens and his wife Marianna, Kansas, Thomas Gibbens and his wife Cookie, Bullhead City, AZ and George Griffith, Jr. and his wife Jackie, Marrowbone, KY; and two daughters: Virginia Waterhouse, Gerry, N.Y and Janice Lindenburger, Colorado Springs, CO. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, 56 great-great grandchildren, and 9 great-great-great grandchildren.
