Mark Britton O’Neal was born to Jack King O’Neal Jr. and Virginia Claire al-Rubaie on January 14, 1982 in St. Augustine, Florida. At the age of 4 his family moved to Portland, Oregon where he lived until moving to Utah, and then back to Oregon. Mark attended Sacramento Elementary School, Parkrose Middle School, and High School, before moving to Oregon City where he completed high school. Mark was an avid sports fan. He loved getting together for family functions especially if food was involved. He had a big heart and was loyal to a fault. Mark met Cathy in middle school where they began a friendship that lasted through the years. Our historic chapel, marked by its cornerstone placed on February 5th, 1901, has stood the test of time. Today, our memorial site spans 8 stories, approximately 7 miles of corridors of beautifully preserved architecture, and the largest mausoleum on the west coast, spanning 2.5 city blocks....
