Mark Sweat
October 5th, 1944 - December 30th, 2021
Francis “Mark” Sweat was born October 5, 1944, in Lynn Haven, Florida, and went to live with Jesus on December 30, 2021 in Winter Haven, Florida. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, Florida for 40 years. He served as a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Trustee, Choir Member, and member of the Goldenairs. He loved to sing about Jesus. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Frances; children, Yvonne Green of Jonesboro, GA, Richard Sweat of Lake Wales, FL, and Steven Sweat of Los Angeles, CA; 10 grandchildren, Whitten, Mark, and William Green and Ethan, Cassia, Lydia, Junia, and Talitha Sweat and Ava and Ella Sweat; and 1 great-grandchild, Maverick Green. He was preceded in death by his father, Dana Sweat; mother, Lillian; and brother, Gary. Funeral services for Mark will be held at 10:00am on January 8, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, Florida. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FBCLW Acts1:8 Missions Fund (50 S 4th St. Lake Wales Fl 33853).
