Marla Jean Stott
December 13th, 1926 - November 17th, 2015
Marla passed away on november 17, 2015. Marla was the youngest of seven children born to Charles and Eliza Bird on December 13, 1926 in Blackfoot, Idaho. While attending cosmetology school in Salt Lake City Marla met the love of her life Bill. They were soon married in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. Nine months later arrived the first of seven children to which they spent a lifetime of devotion guided by their faith in The Lord. Marla is prededed in death by her husband William and daughters Sheri and Trudy. She is survived by her daughter BeckyRick and sons David, KellyAlica, EldonLilian and GladeLaura as well as many grand and great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Sunday November 22 from 6-7:30 at Meldrum Mortuary 52 North Macdonald in Mesa, AZ. Funeral services will be Monday November 23 at 10:00 AM at the LDS Gilbert 9th Ward building at 1150 E Guadalupe Rd in Gilbert, AZ preceded by a visitation at 9:00 AM.
