Marvin Lumpkin
August 16th, 1948 - November 20th, 2018
Marvin left for heaven on Tuesday November 20, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Thelma (Castor) Lumpkin, his brothers Eldon and Warren Lumpkin as well as many other beloved family members and friends. He is survived by wife Deborah Lumpkin, brother Bill and Rose Baughman, three children son Jonathon and Kelsey Lumpkin, son Jeffrey and Mykala Lumpkin, and daughter Dawn and Robert Tupper and two step-sons Robert and Rhonda Griffis, and Chad Griffis, and four known granddaughters Bailey Lumpkin, Haylee Lumpkin, Robynn Griffis, and Madelynn Griffis. Marvin was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, solider, and a friend to many. He shared many passions in life but some of his favorites were camping at the lake, fishing, old western movies, going to car shows, car mechanics, as well as going to all types of car racing. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and he spent many of his years driving trucks over the road. He could navigate you anywhere across the county off the top of his head. Unfortunately, Marvin’s travel log here on earth is full. Marvin will be greatly missed but always remembered by all. Family, friends and others whose lives Marvin touched are invited to visit with the family on 11/28/2018 at Fort Logan Cemetery at 1:15 pm. Please enter through the Sheridan entrance and go to area C for the memorial service. Pallbearers: Jonathon Lumpkin Jeffrey Lumpkin Robert Griffis Mark Troutini Nick Troutini Kalob McCarthy
