Mary Ellen Rudner White
June 19th, 1940 - December 22nd, 2023
Mary Ellen Rudner White was born on June 19, 1940, in Bayonne, New Jersey to Paul and Mary Agnes (Sullivan) Rudner. She attended Mary Jane Donahue Grammer School in Bayonne and Holy Family Academy High School in Bayonne where she was a graduate. She married Dolton K. White on May 28th, 1970, and was married to him until his death on August 12, 2016. She lived in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida, and South Carolina. Mary Ellen was an administrative secretary by trade. She worked for Exxon Corporation in New Jersey and then when she moved to South Carolina she worked for the State Government. Mary Ellen loved her home in West Columbia. She enjoyed sharing a cup of coffee with her neighbors and playing the piano. Mary Ellen is predeceased by her parents Paul and Mary Agnes Rudner, and her husband Dolton. She is survived by her sister Jean Florczak and her niece Cynthia Weber.

Greenlawn Memorial Park is one of Columbia's most historic perpetual care cemeteries. This gorgeous setting combines serenity, natural beauty, and diligent care for generations of families. North Lake, located in the center of our park, offers a water feature and is the site of many local events, including an annual Easter sunrise service, a Greenlawn tradition for over 50 years. The park also has a veteran's section, private family estates, a columbarium with niches for cremated remains, and an incredible granite mausoleum....
