Mary Louise Gooch, 83, of The Villages, FL passed away July 29, 2019 at Harbor Chase, The Villages, FL. She was the wife of Roy Lee Gooch for 64 years. He passed away on June 4, 2019. Mary was born in Harlan, KY, daughter of the late James and Lillian Howard. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL. Mary is survived by her daughter, Amy Gooch of Fort Mill, SC; sisters Peggy Schonk and Edna Valentinnzzi; and brother Gary Howard. The family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, FL, or the Southern College of Optometry in lieu of flowers. Committal service will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 1:30pm.
