A Teardrop Falls A teardrop falls as a mother holds her child for the first time An everlasting bond is established in the blink of an eye Bandaging a knee and bandaging a heart are just what she does Spiritual guide, teacher and friend is just who she is Her tenderness, strength, kindness, love and devotion are palpable Her unwavering love only strengthens with an occasional hug Time moves on as she nourishes her child, and she watches them grow in the radiance of her light Time moves on as her child becomes an adult, a parent, a grandparent She longs for the voice of her child, a smile from her child, an occasional hug. To hear the words, I Love You Mom She knows that her purpose in this realm is complete as she looks into the face of her child with the utmost pride and love Her love is unwavering, eternal God calls out to his daughter, “Precious soul, it is time” She knows that her child will find comfort and be consoled by the treasured memories they’ve created A teardrop falls as a child holds their mother for the last time -Dennis Guilmette Mom, Words cannot express how much we miss you! Love You Mom!!!
