Mary Viola Langford
February 18th, 1931 - November 9th, 2015
Mary Viola Langford, 84, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was born in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late Jessie and Mamie Johnson Find. Mary was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and loved to garden. She was born and raised in SC but also loved to call West Virginia her home. She will be deeply missed by her family as well as her many friends. Mary is survived by her loving son Sidney Lawrence (Shelia) of Rockledge, FL, her brother Jessie Find of Crosby, TX, her daughter in law Janet Caulk of Gilbert and nieces Glenda Burns of Gaston, Kimberly Clark of Crosby, TX and nephew Jamelle Langford, Jr. of Tacoma, WA. She also leaves behind her 6 loving grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Charles; her sons, Sidney Charles Langford, Jr., Robert Glen Caulk, and David Mark Langford; her daughter, Julia Ruth Rhinehart; her sister, Lizzie Langford Holloman; and a sister and brother who passed away as children. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Batesburg Cemetery.
