Mary Kathryn Leak

Our Precious Angel, Mary Leak, went on to rest in Christ July 15, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Barry Leak, Jr. ; loving mother, Kathy Lawrence; and so many others who's lives have been touched by her beautiful and charitable spirit. She was preceded in death by her dad, Lloyd Lawrence. Mary has served the Lord her entire life and put Jesus first in everything she did. She moved to Colorado from Visalia, California in 1995 to continue sharing the love of the Lord and sharing his word with everyone she came in contact with. She had many jobs and hobbies, but her calling to witness of God's grace was the most important part of her life. She was a founding member of the "Remnant Seed" congregation. Mary was a daddy's girl through and through. After losing her Daddy, Lloyd Lawrence, she told him she would continue to carry his torch. Our church family will now carry that torch. She loved to spend time with her mother Kathy, talking the day away, having their nails done, and sharing every story of their day. She married her life long best friend, Barry, on November 27, 2010 and they had spent every day for 2237 days straight together, from June 1, 2010 to July 15, 2016, not being physically apart for any 24 hour period. They called it "The Streak." Mary loved to draw, which often showed her faith and love. She has been a blessing to all that knew her and Mary always gave from her heart. She will be missed every day, but we live with the joy that we will see her again in Paradise.
