WEST COLUMBIA: Services for Mary "Snooks" Medlin Lovett, 62, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Fish Hatchery Road Church of God, Gaston, SC, officiated by Rev. Wendell Hendrix. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Ms. Lovett passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Born in Richland County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dalton Eugene Medlin and Myrtle Ophelia Medlin. She was manager of E-Z Bingo. Surviving are her special parents, Frank and Jo Ann Austin of Gilbert; daughter, Amanda Lovett of Gaston, son, Michael Lovett of West Columbia; multiple brothers and sisters; three grandchildren, Heather Turner, Patrick Lovett, and Bryar Langley. Ms. Lovett was preceded in death by daughters, Krystle Lovett and Heather Lovett and brother, Leonard Medlin.
