Jeanne was 8 years old when her family moved to Portland, Oregon to unite with her mother’s family. She grew up with many cousins and lots of family gatherings. Jeanne attended Portland State University to further her education and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. She graduated from Portland State University on December 19, 1980. Jeanne loved to travel and made several trips to Europe. Her favorite destination was Santorini, Greece. She fell in love with the people, architecture, language and history. She was passionate about painting, pencil drawing and paper cutting. She loved to paint landscapes of mountains using beautiful vibrant colors which was a window to her beautiful spirit and soul. Jeanne was an advocate for the environment and preserving the earth was her legacy. She was very happy when her solar panels were installed and she could watch the meter spin backwards. She was excited to be doing her part saving energy and saving trees. Jeanne passed March 5, 2019 and will be greatly missed as a sister, niece, cousin, aunt and friend.
