Mary Jacqueline Stepina

Mary Jacqueline Stepina "Jackie" was born in Denver, Colorado on November 18, 1946 to Eustaquio and Josephine Herrera (Romero) and was the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters. "Jackie" was superseded in life by her Father Eustaquio Herrera, Mother Josephine Herrera (Romero), Sister Rose Gonzales, Brother Joseph Herrera, Sister Lina Vallegos, Brother John Herrera, Sister Irene Romero, and brother Larry Herrera. "Jackie" was a Colorado Native and lived in Colorado all her life except for when her job took her to Seattle, WA for a year and a half and then Orlando, Florida for about 6 months. Grandma "Jackie" attended School in the Westminster area and graduated from Westminster High School in 1965. Jackie worked for United Airlines for 35 years and retired from there in 2006. In October 2005 Jackie was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, terminal cancer which ran through her bone marrow. "Jackie" passed away due to complications of this horrible disease, on Friday September 18th, 2020 at 6:03PM. She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family as she drew her last breath. Throughout her battle she underwent 2 stem cell transplants and was treated with 18 different chemotherapies and numerous other drugs to control the disease she also suffered numerous other ailments caused by the cancer itself or the medications used to contain it. "Jackie" leaves behind her husband of 28 years Keith Stepina, her daughters; Denise and husband Rodney Boyd, Stephanie and husband Mark Addison, her stepsons; Jeff and wife Marissa Stepina and Scott Stepina, Her grandchildren; Gary Jr (her big boy) and wife Kayla Martinez, her granddaughter Cheryl (her princess) and husband Chad Baldree and her grandson Daniel Martinez (poogie bear), Michael, Alaura, Alexys, Nicole, Mandy and Eric along with her great grandchildren; Chloe (her big girl), Jordan (her handsome boy), Kiera (her beautiful girl), Piper (her precious baby).
