WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - Mathew Douglas Rousey, Sr., of Auburndale, Florida passed away on April 24, 2012 at Winter Haven Hospital, in Winter Haven, Florida. He was 47. Mr. Rousey was born on April 27, 1964, in Bartow, Florida, to Mitchell Obie Rousey and Myra Virginia Hudson Rousey and was a life long resident of the area. He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was Pentecostal by faith.? He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Kenneth Rousey. He is survived by his son, Mathew Douglas Rousey, Jr., and wife, Brittany; The love of his life, Rhonda; brothers Edward Rousey and wife, Gerrie, James Rousey and wife, Lisa, Robert Rousey, David Rousey and wife, Mary Ellen; sisters, Sharon and husband Warren Dover, Marilyn and husband, Roger Baron Roberts; Janice and husband, Dennis Kaliszewski, Dale and husband, Rick Cottrill and two grandchildren. ? Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012, from 12:00 -1:00 P.M., with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 P.M., all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with Pastor Roy Allen, Imprint Ministries, Winter Haven, Florida officiating.
