Matilda "Tillie" Ellen Ortiz went to be with our Lord on February 24, 2022. She was born in Pueblo on May 2, 1948, to Frank Cordova and Francis Sandoval. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Francis. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Frank Ortiz; son Frank Ortiz III (Shannon); siblings Frank (Lillian), Mary (Jose), Ben (Carolyn), Jake, Rose and Sue (Rudy); 3 grandchildren: Alicia (Paul), Phylicia (Anthony), Frank IV (Reanna); 3 great grandchildren: Analiyah, Thalia, and Izak; and her beloved dog Julio. Tillie loved spending time with her family, going up to the hill to gamble and cooking her famous green chile and beans for everybody. Her friends and family described her as very loving and sweet. She was a visiting cna for 30 years and all her patients and colleagues loved her and described her as an amazing caretaker. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
