May Ann Sandoval, 67 of Denver May Ann Sandoval entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord on April 20, 2017 at her residence in Denver, Colorado. May was born on April 23, 1949 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to her parents Manuel Gutierrez and Theresa Lucero. Shorty - Mama Shorty as known by her loving family loved playing cards, Yahtzee, watching western movies. She enjoyed fixing puzzles and listening to music. She will be always missed. Her smile was the best. May is preceded in death by son Danny Gutierrez; her parents, Manuel Gutierrez and Theresa Lucero; brother Johnny Gutierrez and sister Maryjane Garcia. Those to continue to cherish her loving memory is her son Max Mares, daughters Cathy Quintana, April Sandoval and Venus Sandoval; Grandchildren, Vanessa, Donald, James, Shantel, Cosme, Anastasia, Heaven, Summer, Angel, Anolla, Angelo and Joseph; great grandchildren, Meranda, Dominick, Analee, Danni, Ulysses, Elijah, Mariah and Rena; Brother Danny Roy Gutierrez; sister Janet Vialpando. A Time of Visitation will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with the Prayer of the Rosary at 7:00pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:30am; all services will be at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 3900 Pierce Street, Wheat Ridge. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
