Meinrad Leo Bachmeier
December 16th, 1930 - March 5th, 2015
A long time Pueblo, Colorado resident, Leo passed away peacefully in Longmont, Colorado at the age of 84 surrounded by family on March 5, 2015 after a brief illness. Leo was born in Raleigh, North Dakota, served in the U.S. Air Force, eventually making his way to Pueblo, having two children and retiring as a butcher/meat cutter from Frank's Meat Market in 1992. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including polka and classic country western music, especially Marty Robbins, shooting pool and above all, his family. Leo is preceded in death by his parents John and Anna; brothers, Zack, Gene and Albert; stepdaughter Dianna and grandson, Eric. He is survived by his brother, Gabe; daughter, Melissha (Eric), son Randy (Shawna); stepdaughters, Dorothy and Lynann along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
