Mervin E. Miller of North Port, FL passed away November 18, 2007. He was 81. He was born January 13, 1926 in Petersburg, VA and lived for many years in Sarasota, FL. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Suncoast Baptist Church. He was past member and president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ladye and Mervin Miller and stepdaughter, Michelle. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Miller; children: Emerson Hammer, Ronald, Hammer, and Shannon Hammer; four grandchildren; and niece, Judy Pierson. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory, North Port Chapel, is handling arrangements.
