He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Johnson; and mother, Stella Tubbs.Mike leaves behind his wife, Adriene Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five children, Lisha (Augustine) Aragon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Michael (Claudia) Johnson, II of Lovington, New Mexico, Deandre Deans of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Coytes Harris of Roswell, New Mexico and David Deans, II of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mike leaves two siblings, sister, Almetra Williams-Strange of Roswell, New Mexico and brother, Jerry (Sunae) Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He leaves eleven grandchildren, Joseph, Aleace, Kayla, Kendra, Tre, Michael III, Adrianna, Jaiden, Patrick, Lahaila and Elias; and six great-grandchildren.Mike was a loving, kind, joyful and generous man that touched so many people's lives. Mike truly fought a good fight; his strength, faith and hope will be an encouragement to others. He was a man of God and loved both his family and church family.He will be missed tremendously!A private family ceremony will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019.
