October 2nd, 1955 - February 12th, 2024
Mike Jung, 68, died peacefully at home after battling pancreatic cancer. He married his loving wife, Jackie, in 1999. Mike worked at Crepaco for 28 years before they closed their doors. He then, worked at Basin, in Jefferson, until his diagnosis. Mike enjoyed watching NCIS and home repair shows. His passion was spending time with his wife and cats. Mike leaves behind one daughter, Patty Jo; two step-sons, Mike (Nadine) Fiedler, Tim (Tina) Klug, stepdaughter, Patricia (Jeff) Troemel-Smith; and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jo; and nephew, Robbie. At Mike’s request, no formal services will be held. Donation’s in Mike’s name can be made to Cancer Treatment Center in Johnson Creek. Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
