Michael Kaczmarek
February 18th, 1949 - November 14th, 2017
Michael Walter Kaczmarek, 68, a loving and caring husband and father passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on November 14, 2017. Michael is survived by his wife – Marlee Kaczmarek, his children – Sean, Michael (Kara), Molly, Josie, and Katherine (Jeremy). He was a loving Grandfather – David (Ashlee), Jessica, Emily (David), Tori, Jake, Mike, Martika, Michael, Seth, Mason, and Grant. A great-grandfather (Double G) of 5 little ones. With countless cousins and friends who have become family. Mike was a man who had a strong brotherhood with his fellow Marines. Mike joined the Marine Corp out of high school and from there served honorably in Vietnam! He was a Purple Heart recipient. He was proud of his service and of those who continue to serve such as his grandson now. Mike took great pride in his work in his community. His work as a paramedic in Michigan and a business owner in Colorado. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He became friends with many who are near and dear to his heart. He enjoyed his family to the fullest. His wife was his best friend standing by each other’s side until the end. He had great pride in everything his wife accomplished in life. She is his rock. He enjoyed spending time listening to his children play in the orchestra or just practice their instruments. He loves watching them play sports or simply talking about the contents of a good book. There is no doubt his love for them. Michael loved the state of Colorado and would try to get anyone to visit the state. He loved sharing his favorite little towns, favorite restaurant in Breckenridge, the rodeo and his favorite festivals around town. He loved Pikes Peak, that was his mountain. Even though Michael loved to travel and take cruises to different places his favorite was Oceanside California. He was able to take a vacation with most of his family just a year ago.
