Michael Anthony Martinez November 20, 1957 ~ April 2, 2018 It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the Martinez family announce the passing of their beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Michael Anthony Martinez. Who passed away suddenly on Monday, April 2, 2018 in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to his parents Emilio and Dolores Martinez. Michael is preceded in death by his wife Christine Ebrect; his father Emilio Martinez. To soldier on to cherish his memory is his wife, Carol V. Martinez, who share 33 years of marriage together; Daughters, Jessica (Billy) and Rachel; Son Michael; Grandchildren, Trystin (Jesse) and Michael; Mother Dolores Florez; Siblings, Al (Chrissy) Martinez, Patricia, Robert Martinez; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and a host of extended family and friends. Michael served proudly in the United States Navy from 1977 to 1984. He worked for the USPS as a letter carried for over 30+ years. Devoted in being a Baseball coach from 1970 to 2000 in all levels, he loved fishing, camping, fantasy football, and the outdoors. He cherished and loved spending time with his family. He loved having a house full of laughter and fun. He was a story teller extraordinaire, he was a funny, kind and compassionate man. He was generous with everything and everyone. Memorial Gathering with US Navy Military Honors will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 6:00pm at Romero Chapel Aurora, 15150 E. Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO, with a Reception to follow at the Romero Aurora Chapel Hall.
