Michael Metyk
March 7th, 1924 - January 23rd, 2017
Michael Metyk passed away peacefully in his sleep in Port Charlotte, Florida at 92 years of age on January 23, 2017. He was born to Tetyana and Metro Metyk on March 7th, 1924 in Cleveland Ohio. He was a World War Two Veteran serving in the Marine Corps. He was a long time school Administrator in the Berea City School District. He was Principal of Brookview, Gallagher, Middlebrook and Koeppe schools. After retirement he served as Bailiff to the Honorable James F Hennessy. He was preceded in death by his former wife Barbara Metyk, siblings Nick, John and Mary Metyk. He is survived by his sons Johnathan and Michael Metyk as well as Grandsons Michael Alexander Metyk, Nathan Metyk and Mathew Metyk.
