Michael Charles Sherbondy, 69, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away August 8, 2020 in Colorado Springs.He was born November 11, 1950 to Don Michael and Donna Phyllis (Jensen) Sherbondy in Council Bluffs, Iowa.Mike went to high school at Westminster High School and graduated in 1969.He worked as a police officer in California and finished out as a truck driver in Colorado. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.Mike enjoyed working on hot rods and any type of car racing.He had a tremendous love for his family and children, as well as a very generous spirit and unexpected humor.Mike is preceded in death by his mom, Donna Sherbondy; and dad, Don Sherbondy.He is survived by his children, Christie Sherbondy, Misty Sherbondy, Brittany Sherbondy, Michael Sherbondy and Josiah Brown; grandchildren, Christian Sherbondy, Jace Hackler, Evelynn Hackler, Rocco Sherbondy, Logan Lee, Prarie Lee, Liam Highstead, Farrah Sherbondy, Sasha Sherbondy and Aryanna Sherbondy; siblings, Jenay Young, Anthony Sherbondy and Steve Sherbondy.A Private Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
