Michael Charles Tyler

Michael Charles Tyler, 71, of Madeira Beach Florida passed away peacefully in his residence on November 13, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1952 in Joliet Illinois. A lifelong passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, he worked hard so he could own every motorcycle he liked. With 25 years of experience in construction and engineering management on numerous national and international construction projects. He was a member of Union Local 63 Carpenters Bloomington, Illinois and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Michael is survived by his daughter Tina Marie Tyler-Pennington of Currituck, North Carolina and four grandchildren, Connor, Hayden, Solomon and Gabrielle. Two brothers, Richard Tyler of Joliet, Illinois and Gilbert Tyler of Clearwater, Florida and two sisters, Michelle Tyler of Ft. Myers, Florida and Georgia Tyler of Dwight, Illinois. Mike was able to command a conversation with anyone he met. Whether motorcycle friends on bike runs or clients in business board rooms. In his accomplished career, he received two Excellence in Consturction Awards form Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., received two U.S. patents, and earned several awards for management from cities throughout Florida. You are forever in our thoughts and every prayer and I will always remember your mantra “When life gets complicated and stressed, I ride.” On December 23, 2023, a service and burial at sea of Mike’s cremains were scattered at the same latitude and longitude of his mother Betty Ruth Tyler.
